    Freeboard

    The Freeboard is about 14” deep, so there is greater freedom to paddle slightly tipped to one side or in heavy waves. Paddlers may feel more secure in a craft with more freeboard (translation: the part of the canoe above water when occupied/loaded)

    Soupspoon

    The Soupspoon design drops the gunnel line about 2”. This gives a more open feel for paddling and decreases the surface area which can help on windy days.

Paddle Holders
